“2 Match Mein Tujhe 2 Bat Dun?”: Virat Kohli Irked As Rinku Singh Reveals He Broke His Bat

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman Rinku Singh gave bad news to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) superstar Virat Kohli ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match between the two teams. Rinku, who met Virat on the eve of the match, revealed that he broke the bat which the RCB star had given him. As Rinku explained how he broke the bat, Kohli made it clear that he was in no mood to give him another bat after the KKR star broke the last one.

This will be the second time this season when KKR and RCB will face each other. On the first occasion, the Knight Riders were victorious despite Kohli's innings of 83 runs from 59 balls. The RCB batsman passed the bat to Rinku at the end of the match, but unfortunately, the latter broke it.

Knight Riders have shared the video of the conversation between the two regarding the broken bat. Here's how the conversation went:

Rinku Singh: I broke the bat against a spinner (you gave it).

Virat Kohli: my bat?

Rinku Singh: Yes

Virat Kohli: You broke it against a spinner? Where did you break it?

Rinku Singh: through the middle.

Virat Kohli: Then what should I do?

Rinku Singh:I was just informing you.

Virat Kohli:No problem. It's good that you told me. But I don't need the information.

(Rinku then starts hitting the ball on Virat's bat.)

Virat Kohli: This bat is not good.

Rinku Singh:Are you sending one?

Virat Kohli: Who am I sending it to?

Rinku Singh:You can keep it (Virat returns the bat to him)

Virat Kohli:You took a bat from me earlier. Now you want another at-bat in another game? Because of you I have to face consequences later.

Virat Kohli:I swear to you, I will not break the bat again. I can show you the broken bat.

Although in the video Virat refused to give the bat to Rinku, it would not be surprising if the RCB star decides to give another of his bats to KKR after the match between the two teams on Sunday.
