Adani Green operationalises 300 MW wind power project in Gujarat


Ahmedabad: Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL), The Renewable energy Port power conglomerate Adani Group's arm operates 126 MW wind energy capacity in Gujarat, the company announced on Monday. This marks the completion of the 300 MW project, of which 174 MW had already been commissioned.
The 300 MW wind project will generate 1,091 million electricity units, avoiding approximately 0.8 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
With the operation of the project, AGEN continues to strengthen its market leadership. The company has the country's largest renewable energy portfolio of 9,604 MW.
The National Institute of Wind Energy has estimated India's gross wind energy potential to be 695.5 GW at 120 m and 1163.9 GW at 150 m above ground level.
