“This series, along with the three T20 matches against Ireland in March, is a good opportunity for us to test our bench strength and finalize a good squad for the mega event.”
The Twenty20 World Cup will be held in the United States and West Indies in June this year.
Another key spinner, Mujeeb Ur Rahman has also been ruled out of the squad due to a sprain in his right hand ahead of the start of the ODI series against Sri Lanka.
