All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched “Assistance to Students to Participate in Competitions Abroad”. sspca scheme to encourage indian students to participate in global competitions,
AICTE offers SSPCA scheme financial help On reimbursement basis up to Rs 2 lakh per student. This assistance covers a variety of expenses, such as international and domestic travel, registration fees, visa application fees, accommodation and boarding, airport taxes, travel health insurance and competition equipment costs.
In addition, the AICTE SSPCA Scheme provides travel grants for individual students or student teams wishing to compete in international competitions. Students wishing to represent India on the global stage receive comprehensive support including financial aid, counseling and logistical guidance. The program allows students to network with peers, industry leaders and academics from around the world, enhancing their overall exposure and experience.
How to apply for assistance?
To apply for assistance, follow these steps:
Step 1: Send the application “Offline” to AICTE New Delhi.
Step 2: Include necessary attachments such as: acceptance letter from the competition organizers; Mention full contest details.
Step 3: Submit the application at least two months before the start of the event. AICTE will provide all necessary support to promote the scheme.
AICTE has informed that submission of proposal does not automatically imply approval of AICTE.
