Alkemi leads funding in emergency healthcare firm Medulance


New Delhi: medullancea player in emergency The healthcare sector has secured $3 million in Series A funding, led by Alchemy Growth Capital, The funds will be used with a focus on expanding its presence across the country emergency management technology, This includes a further reduction in the time to answer emergency calls and the response time of emergency services in more than 500 cities in India, a company statement said.
The funding round also saw participation from leading investors such as Dexter Capital, Aman Gupta and Namita Thapar. Medulence has secured funding after six years of running as a profitable bootstrapped company.
Medulence aims to reach Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and deliver impact at scale in a densely populated country like India, where the incidence of serious life-threatening diseases is also high.
Over the next 15-18 months, Medulence plans to expand to over 1000 cities in the country, with patient safety and quality of care being prioritized in every region.
