American Airlines passenger hurls anti-Semitic slur at flight attendant, forced off plane


New Delhi: A.N unruly passenger riding American Airlines Flight 2506 from Tampa International Airport to Philadelphia was arrested after causing chaos and shouting anti-Semitic abuse at a flight attendant. In a video of the incident, the passenger can be seen verbally assaulting both staff and fellow passengers.
According to the New York Post, he accused others of plotting against him and used abusive language, including an anti-Semitic slur directed at a flight attendant.
Amidst his anger, he expressed his frustration at reaching his destination and claimed that other people were hindering his journey. “I am trying to go to my country and all of you have made it difficult for me to reach my country,” he can be heard shouting in the video.

Tension escalated when the disruptive passenger confronted another passenger wearing a blue sweater in the aisle. Allegations of physical contact led to a physical altercation, resulting in the blue passenger putting the unruly man in a headlock. Additional passengers, including a woman who identified herself as a police officer, intervened to help get the disruptive passenger off the plane.
Law enforcement was called to the scene, and the unruly passenger was later arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication and two counts of assault.
American Airlines confirmed the glitch and expressed gratitude to its team for handling the situation and apologized to customers for any inconvenience caused by the delay.
