cbse class 10 board exam Result: Central Board of Secondary Education Class 10 board exam 2024 ended on 13th March 2024. The examinations started on 15 February. Estimates suggest that this year, around 20 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 board exam 2024. Last year, 21.65 lakh students had registered and appeared for the CBSE Class 10 board exams. Now that the examination is over, curiosity about the result date has increased among the students. Here, we are going to discuss the expected result date of class 10 board exam.
CBSE 2024 Class 10 Result Expected Date
Last year, CBSE had released the Class 10 board exam result on May 12, 2023. The Class 10 board exams started on February 14 and continued till March 21, 2023.
This year also, CBSE is expected to declare the CBSE Class 10 results around the second week of May 2024. However, there is a possibility of delay in declaring the results in 2024 as many schools have not been able to complete their practical examinations. The board has decided to extend the deadline for class 10th practical examinations. Schools which have not yet conducted these examinations can do so till March 31. Schools have time till March 31 to upload the results of practical examinations, project work and internal assessment for the 2023-24 academic year.
Where and how to check CBSE Class 10 Result 2024?
Once the CBSE 2024 Class 10 results are declared, candidates will be able to check it from the official websites cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the Result tab located on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your registration number and date of birth as required log-in details.
Step 4: Access the given result PDF and review all the details thoroughly.
Step 5: Save a hard copy of the result for future reference.
How were CBSE 2024 Class 10 exams?
The pressure to perform well in every subject in board exams is a challenging experience for every candidate. Before every paper, there is a lot of expectation about how difficult or how easy it will be. With the exams coming to an end, we are going to share a bird's eye view of the difficulty level of various papers and students' reactions to them.
English: The English Language and Literature paper was held on 22 February 2024. Students were given 3 hours for the paper. The paper had three sections – Reading, Writing and Grammar, and Literature – totaling 80 marks. According to students who took the exam and teachers who analyzed the paper, the exam was balanced and had a mix of aptitude-based questions and textual questions.
Students found the grammar section easy and scoring. However, according to the students, the questions from the Literature section seemed a bit long and moderately difficult. The paper also included two Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions.
Science: Class 10 Science exam was scheduled for March 2, 2024. The Science exam had 11 questions and 39 marks. The duration of the paper was three hours. As per students' feedback, the paper was a bit complex, although there were no questions from outside the syllabus. Additionally, most of the questions were directly from the NCERT textbook, and students were able to complete the paper on time.
Mathematics: Class 10 Mathematics Basic and Standard papers were held on March 11, 2024. The paper pattern for both the papers was the same, consisting of 38 questions against 80 marks. There were mixed reactions from students on the exam, with some saying that the exam was long and moderately difficult, while some claimed that the paper was manageable but included some questions that were outside the syllabus. The Mathematics test lasted for 3 hours duration.
social science, The Class 10 Social Science paper was held on March 7, 2024. Students who took the exam described the paper as quite balanced. And it included a balanced mix of analytical and application-based questions. The paper was rated moderately difficult. The CBSE Class 10 Social Science paper lasted for three hours and consisted of 37 questions carrying a total of 80 marks.
