Fresh from the success of his first film past lifeCeline Song finds her next feature directorial debut AtheistA romantic comedy.

Hollywood stars Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal are in various stages of talks to play the lead roles in this film from Hollywood studio A24. Diversity,

Atheist Set in New York and tells the story of a high-end matchmaker who becomes involved with a rich man, but still has feelings for the broken actor-waiter she left behind.

Killer Films' Christine Vachon and Pam Koffler and 2AM's David Hinojosa will produce the film, which Song will direct from her own script. The project is expected to begin production in the coming months.

Song makes a great debut as a filmmaker in 2023 past lifeAn intimate drama about two young souls from South Korea who reconnect after decades.

The film, starring Greta Lee, Teo Yu and John Magaro, had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and received critical acclaim upon its worldwide release.

Song is currently awaiting the 2024 Academy Awards, where the film is nominated for two Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.
