Mumbai: Goa based airline FLY91 marked a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Goa tourism department to promote sustainable travel, The airline said the agreement was signed at the Goa International Travel Mart on Wednesday.

Specifically, FLY91 will promote domestic and inbound tourism in Goa, conduct activities that will contribute to further developing sustainable tourism in the picturesque state, and strengthen Goa Government initiatives to empower hospitality businesses, ”It said. tourism department Will promote the 'FLY91' brand at various B2C conferences and forums where the Government of Goa is scheduled to participate. The airline said the two-year agreement identifies broad areas of future collaboration and partnership between the Tourism Department of the Government of Goa and FLY91, which can help attract high-end tourists seeking diverse and quality experiences.

FLY91 (Just Udo Aviation Private Limited) is a pure regional airline headquartered in Goa and its first base is the state's Manohar International Airport, Mopa. The airline's focus is on air connectivity to tier 2 and tier 3 cities in India. The airline began services in March with an inaugural flight from Goa to Bengaluru. On its first day of operations, Fly91 also flew from Bengaluru to Sindhudurg. The airline is scheduled to fly between Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Sindhudurg, while planning to connect to Agatti, Jalgaon and Pune next month in April. Under the current schedule, the airline operates flights between Goa and Bengaluru and Bengaluru-Sindhudurg on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. Additionally, they will fly twice a week between Goa and Hyderabad as well as between Sindhudurg and Hyderabad. FLY91's head office is in Goa.
