“I Am Heartbroken”: R Ashwin’s Hilarious Chat With Janhvi Kapoor ‘Parody’ Account Viral

After his heroics in the India vs England Test series, Ravichandran Ashwin will be expected to work his magic in the IPL as well. During the Test series, Ashwin played his 100th Test and also took his 500th wicket in this format, becoming the second Indian to do so. Now Ashwin will play for Rajasthan Royals in IPL. Along with Yuzvendra Chahal, he is a powerful spin force.

Before things got serious in the IPL, Ashwin had a fun chat with actress Janhvi Kapoor's parody account.

It all started with Ashwin replying to a post on Ravindra Jadeja's ex. “Jaddu! I couldn't control my surprise and laughter through and through your message,” Ashwin wrote in response to his Indian cricket teammate's “Did you like my Tamil” post.

Responding to that post, an

To which, Ashwin wrote: “Hey Janhvi”

An X user then said: “This is parody Anna…reply here…”

Ashwin replied, “Omg. Is that so? My heart is broken (in emoji).”

Then the ex-user with the display name “Janhvi Kapoor (parody)” said, “Sir, not a fake account.”

To which, Ashwin said: “You shouldn't say that, because it says parody and the fun is in interacting as if you are real.”

With 516 wickets in 100 Test matches, Ashwin is a bona fide superstar in Indian cricket, second only to the great Anil Kumble in the list of top Indian wicket-takers in the five-day format.

But that was not the case in 2008 when he was included by Chennai Super Kings as a local spinner. He did not get any games that year as the great Muttiah Muralitharan led their spin attack.

In the 2011 IPL final against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Dhoni handed the new ball to Ashwin and the then off-spinner made an impact by dismissing the in-form Chris Gayle on the fourth ball itself.

In the same year, he made his India debut under Dhoni and won Player of the Match honors in the match against West Indies in Delhi.

Ashwin said, “In 2008 I met all the great players (in the CSK dressing room) Matthew Hayden and MS Dhoni. I met him in (IPL) 2008. Then I was nothing, where would I play in a team which had Muttiah Muralitharan.” ” Who was honored in an emotional tone by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association in a grand ceremony for his rare achievements.

He said, “I will be indebted to Dhoni all my life for what he gave me. He gave me a chance to face Chris Gayle with the new ball and after 17 years Anil Bhai will talk about the same episode.” Remembered fondly.
