With the help of Neha's two goals in the second half, India defeated Nepal 4-0 in their last league match on Tuesday and entered the final of the SAFF Under-19 Women's Championship. India will face host and defending champion Bangladesh in the final to be played on Thursday. The Young Tigresses had earlier won their first match against Bhutan 10–0, followed by a 0–1 defeat against Bangladesh. After a goalless first half, the Indian girls performed brilliantly in the second session, scoring four goals.
Neha scored in the 54th and 80th minutes while Sulanjana Raul (85th) and Cindy Remruatpui Kolni (90 3) scored the other goals for India.
