In the FIR, the woman has alleged that after getting in touch on Instagram, Varun insisted on meeting her and she agreed after some of his friends convinced her.
Eventually both became friends and got into a relationship.
According to the woman, he took her to a hotel in Jayanagar, Bengaluru in July 2019 and had physical relations with her despite knowing that she was a minor. She said she protested but he promised to take their relationship a step further and marry her later.
“She accused him of having physical relations with her several times during their five-year-long relationship under the pretext of marriage,” the FIR said.
The woman alleged that after her father's death last year, he started distancing himself from her and stopped responding to her calls and messages.
According to her FIR, Varun came to meet her after the accident but after that he stopped talking.
She said that when she approached the police on the previous occasion, Varun resumed conversations with her. However, when she insisted on marriage he distanced himself again.
After this he threatened that if she put pressure on him, he would upload her pictures on social media.
