iPhone SE 4 Leaked Case Renders Suggest Major Design Changes, Could Get Notch, Action Button, More


Apple's fourth-generation iPhone SE is reportedly in the works and is speculated to launch in 2025. We've heard countless rumors and leaks about the design of the iPhone SE 4. Leaker Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial) has posted photos of an iPhone SE 4 case on the X. The supposed case suggests a larger screen similar to the iPhone 13 and a notch for the selfie camera and Face ID sensor on the display. The handset may be the first in the SE lineup to ditch Touch ID and the home button.

The leaked case reveals a single camera sensor on the back of the iPhone SE 4. It is rumored to have a 48-megapixel sensor along with an LED flash and microphone. The design of the camera module is similar to that of the iPhone XR. The volume rocker is visible on the left side of the handset and there is a cutout above the volume rocker. It may have a rumored action button. The action button that replaced the mute switch is currently available on the latest iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to go official in 2025 at the earliest. According to previous reports, it will have a 6.1-inch OLED panel. BOE will reportedly supply the handset's OLED displays. It is expected to come with Apple's in-house 5G modem chip and include a USB Type-C port for charging. Its size is said to be 147.7×71.5×7.7 mm.
