JEE Main 2024: Session 2 registration closes soon at jeemain.nta.ac.in; check exam date, test pattern and more

JEE Main 2024 Session 2: Joint Entrance Examination 2024 Registrations are ongoing for JEE Main Exam 2024 2 (April). After the conclusion of JEE Main Session 1 exam, the conducting body National Testing Agency (NTA) had started the JEE Main Session 2 online registration process on February 2.
Eligible candidates can apply for JEE Main Session 2 exam on the official website of NTA JEE, jeemain.nta.ac.in. Uploading of personal information and academic records is required for successful submission of online application. The last date to apply is March 2, 2024.
JEE Main Session 2 exam gives students an additional opportunity to appear in the standardized computer-based examination for admission to various undergraduate programs in the engineering domain in top institutes like NITs, IIITs and centrally funded technical institutes, as well as acting Is. A qualifying examination for the JEE Advanced examination, which is required for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Eligibility for JEE Main Session 2 Exam
Candidates who had applied and paid the examination fee for JEE Main 2024 Session 1 and wish to participate in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 must login with their previous application number and password from Session 1.
Apart from the basic eligibility criteria mentioned by NTA to apply for the exam, candidates are required to know the following conditions to be eligible to appear in JEE Main Session 2 exam. Here is an overview-

  • Candidates who have already registered for both Session 1 and Session 2 of JEE (Main) – 2024 can check their syllabus, language of question paper, eligibility state code, examination city, educational qualification for Class 10 and 12 and Fee payment details are subject to change. However, any corrections in these areas will be subject to additional charges, if applicable, and can be made only after payment.
  • Candidates who have already registered for Session 1 but have not yet applied for Session 2 of JEE (Main) – 2024 are considered as existing candidates for Session 2. Candidates can choose their course, language of question paper, eligibility state code, exam city, educational. Eligibility, and fee payment details for Class 10 and 12.
  • New candidates in Session 2, who have not yet registered or paid fees for Session 1, will have to go through the same registration and application process as in Session 1.

JEE Main Session 2 Exam Date
JEE Main 2024 Session 2 registrations will close on March 2 at 11 pm; Candidates will have additional time till 11:50 pm to complete the application fee payment process.
As per the NTA notice, JEE Main Session 2 exam will start later between April 4 to April 15, 2024. The exam cities and admit cards will be released a few days before the exam on the official website jeemain.nta.ac. .In.
