Director Karan Johar's dear friend Kareena Kapoor on Wednesday wished her twins, son Yash and daughter Roohi, on their 7th birthday. The actress who acted in Karan Johar's film sometimes happy sometimes sad, shared a picture of the two children on her Instagram story and wrote, “Roohi and Yash, God bless you, I love you.” Like their parents, Taimur and Yash also share a close bond. Last year, both the children were also seen participating together in the annual Taekwondo competition.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar hosted a grand Willy Wonka themed birthday party for his kids Yash and Roohi. Sharing pictures from the party, KJo wrote, “Happy Birthday to the brightest sunshine of my life (x2)! My life has changed forever, for the best when you both showered your goofy and adorable laugh on me.” Coming into this with a spotless laugh and of course – lots of love to give to the world! Over the weekend, Karan Johar hosted another party for his kids which was attended by many of his celebrity friends and their children. From Rani Mukherjee, Shilpa Shetty to Shweta Bachchan, the star-studded birthday party was a houseful. Karan Johar's close friend and actress Rani Mukherjee was seen in a casual look at the party. Apart from Rani, actress Shilpa Shetty attended the party with her children Viaan and Samisha. Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan also made her presence felt in coat and pants at the birthday celebrations.

On the work front, Karan Johar recently hosted the 69th Filmfare Awards ceremony in Gujarat, where his film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani won 4 awards including Best Actress for Alia Bhatt, Best Supporting Actress for Shabana Azmi , Best Dialogue for Ishita Moitra and Best Choreography for What's Jhumka? To Ganesh Acharya.
