KSEAB Karnataka SSLC exams begin tomorrow: Nearly 9 lakh candidates to appear; check guidelines


Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEAB) ready to start Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam 2024, tomorrow i.e. 25th March 2024.
Karnataka class 10 board exam It will be conducted in a single shift from 10:15 am to 1:30 pm and will run till April 6, 2024.
Karnataka School Education Minister, Madhu Bangarappa revealed that a total of more than 8.9 lakh students have registered for the upcoming SSLC (Class 10) examinations. Data provided by the Karnataka School Board indicates a fairly balanced distribution with around 4.5. Lakh male students and 4.3 lakh female students are preparing to appear in the examination.
Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEAB) took an important step forward by releasing the Karnataka SSLC Hall Ticket for the year 2024 on March 6, 2024. This release is an important milestone for students and educational institutions. School authorities have been entrusted with the responsibility of purchasing these hall tickets through the school login portal of the official website of the board and later distributing them among the students.
SSLC Hall Ticket serves as an important document for every student, which contains essential personal details like their name, roll number, exam dates, venue and time. It is mandatory for students to carry the original Karnataka SSLC (Class 10) Admit Card 2024 with them at their respective examination centers during the examination period.
Additionally, the board will also release provisional admit cards to facilitate verification of students' information by schools.
These provisional admit cards can be accessed and verified by the schools through the official website sslc.karnataka.gov.in or kseab.karnataka.gov.in. Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEAB) has prepared comprehensive guidelines for SSLC Exam 2024 to ensure fairness and smooth conduct:

  • Hall Ticket Required: Students must ensure that they carry their examination hall ticket to the examination hall as it acts as a mandatory identity document.
  • Prohibition of Electronic Devices: Use of electronic devices like calculators and mobile phones as well as any unfair means is strictly prohibited within the examination hall to maintain the integrity.
  • Extra Time for Question Paper Review: Students will be allotted an additional 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination to carefully review the question paper, to aid in better understanding and preparation.
  • Accommodation for Specially Abled Students: Specially abled students will get an extended duration of one hour by the Board to complete the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2024, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunity.
  • Answer Sheet Review Time: At the end of the examination, students are allowed to use the last minutes to revisit their answer sheets, allowing them to correct any mistakes or omissions, thereby ensuring accuracy and Confidence increases.
