A few weeks ago, Mumbai Police used a scene from Margao Express to spread awareness about the importance of seat belts. In the video shared on Instagram, the film's lead trio – Pratik Gandhi, Divyendu and Avinash Tiwari – can be seen sitting in a car without seat belts. The clip ends with the message, “Seatbelt is important” flashing on the screen.
