Mahindra Q3 profit after tax up 34% at Rs 2,658 crore; revenue at Rs 35,299 crore


Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra on Wednesday recorded 34 percent growth in its consolidated Benefit Rs 2,658 crore after tax for the third quarter ending December 31, 2023, driven by strong sales across all segments. The auto major had reported a profit after tax of Rs 1,984 crore in the October-December quarter of the last financial year.
Income Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) said in a regulatory filing that it grew 15 per cent to Rs 35,299 crore in the period under review, compared to Rs 30,621 crore in the year-ago period.
Anish Shah, Managing Director and CEO, M&M, said, “Our businesses have delivered solid operating performance this quarter. Auto has continued to gain market share and grown rapidly to double its profits. Market share has been gained regardless of market conditions.”
He added: “TechM is working through challenging operating results but I feel good that the right steps are being taken to turn around its performance.”
Shah said the company continues its journey to unlock value in its growth gems with the listing of India's largest renewables InvIT and partnerships with leading investors.
Shares of the company were trading 0.13 per cent higher at Rs 1,648.10 on BSE.
