After the match, RCB captain Faf du Plessis decoded the skill set that makes Mayank Yadav so lethal.

The Delhi storm left the RCB batsmen at their mercy after his sensational spell, taking 3/14.

A night when the LSG fast bowler bowled the fastest ball in the ongoing edition at 156.7 kmph and broke records to bowl the fourth fastest ball overall in the history of the entire tournament.

He dismissed Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green and Rajat Patidar, dashing RCB's hopes of chasing 182 runs.

After the game, Du Plessis spoke about the factors that make Mayank more lethal apart from his pace.

“Like any new young fast bowler, it is an action that you have not faced before and behind it is his pace. His pace was very good but what was even more impressive was his ability to control his length and bowl with discipline. Had the capability. It's speed combined with accuracy.” Du Plessis said after the game.
