On Tuesday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that Shami will not play in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 with Gujarat Titans (GT). In an official statement, the BCCI said that Shami is being monitored by the BCCI medical team after undergoing surgery on his Achilles tendon in February.
