Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend MS Dhoni played just one ball against Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match on Tuesday. Although Dhoni's time at the crease was limited, he was still one of the most photographed players in the match by photographers. In fact, Dhoni is often shown on screen even when he is in the dressing room. Perhaps tired of constantly seeing his face on the big screen, Dhoni resorted to throwing a bottle at a photographer, causing an uproar on social media.

As soon as Dhoni was shown on the big screen, he made a gesture as if he was throwing a water bottle at the cameraman. The video sent fans ROFL.

As far as the match is concerned, LSG all-rounder Marcus Stoinis defied the odds with his relentless attack and smashed his maiden century to lead Lucknow Super Giants to a 6-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings.

“Hard to swallow but LSG played well in the end. The game was in our hands around the 13th over, but hats off to Stoinis,” CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad said at the post-match presentation. Dew played a big role in this. This took the spinners away from the game. We could have taken the game deeper, but that's part of the game, you can't control the uncontrollable.”

Gaikwad also clarified his decision to send Ravindra Jadeja before Shivam Dubey in the batting order.

“Jaddu is batting at number four. We lost the second wicket in the powerplay and he was the guy to come in at that stage. We have a clear process, that whenever a wicket falls (during the powerplay) Jaddu is the one to come in. Are.” Batting first we could not have got anything more than this. I never thought he would have batted the way he did considering the amount of dew we had, which is a credit to him.”
