New Delhi: The National Informatics Center (NIC) has declared the result for the recruitment of Scientific and Technical posts for the year 2023. List of provisionally selected candidates for the posts of Scientist E and Scientist F NICAdvertised under NIELIT/NIC/2022/2, uploaded on the official portal
Out of 598 vacancies available, a total of 329 candidates have been selected through rigorous hard work. Selection Process, The selection process involved a combination of written examination and interview. For the posts of Scientist B and Scientific Officer/Engineer-SB, candidates had to go through both Written exam And a InterviewWhereas the selection for Scientific/Technical Assistant-A posts was completely based on written examination.
The written examination was conducted online, consisting of 120 multiple choice questions to be answered within a maximum of 3 hours. The question paper covered both technical and general areas, with 65% questions from the former and 35% from the latter. There is one mark for each correct answer, there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
To qualify the written examination, candidates need to score minimum 50% marks for General/EWS, 40% for OBC and 30% for SC/ST/PWD categories. These criteria apply to both overall scores and individual sections of the exam.
The announcement of these results marks an important milestone in the recruitment process, providing successful candidates an opportunity to contribute to the National Informatics Centre's mission of leveraging technology for national development.
