Odisha Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has announced vacancies for the posts of Principal and Teachers in Odisha Adarsh ​​Vidyalayas. Candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria can submit their applications through the official website oav.edu.in.
As per the official notice, the recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1342 vacancies. The application process will start from 1st April and the last date to submit the application form is 30th April.
Age Range

  • for the post of principal: Candidates age should be below 50 years and above 32 years as on 01.01.2024.
  • For all other posts except the post of Principal: Candidates age should be below 38 years and above 21 years as on 01.01.2024.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Computer Based Test (CBT), Interview and Performance Test.

  • principal: The Online Test, also known as Computer Based Test (CBT), will consist of four parts: Part-I, Part-II, Part-III and Part-IV. All questions will be in multiple choice format. The exam will last for 180 minutes, with a total of 180 questions, each question carrying one mark. There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The marks obtained in CBT Part-I are purely qualifying in nature and will not be used for shortlisting the candidates for interview. Evaluation of Part-II, Part-III and Part-IV will take place only if the candidate qualifies in Part-I, obtaining a minimum of 5 marks each in English and Odia subjects and an aggregate score of 13 marks.

  • TGT (English/Maths/Science/Social Studies):The Online Test, or Computer Based Test (CBT) consists of three parts: Part-I, Part-II, and Part-III, all consisting of multiple choice questions. The duration of the test is 200 minutes, consisting of 200 questions, each question carrying one mark. There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The marks obtained in CBT Part-I serve as an eligibility criteria and will not be considered for shortlisting the candidates for interview. Evaluation of Part-II and Part-III of the test will be conducted only if the candidate qualifies in Part-I, securing a minimum of 5 marks each in English and Odia subjects and a total score of 13 marks.
