Bravo said, “The owners have no outside interference or pressure and they let the players be themselves. That's the beauty of this franchise.”

Speaking about the team combination ahead of the upcoming edition of the popular T20 league, he said, “It's good. We have a very good squad. We want to carry on from where we left off last season.”
“We did some great things with a young bowling attack,” he told PTI on the sidelines of the Avira Diamonds store launch here on Thursday.
CSK will enter the tournament as defending champions, having defeated Gujarat Titans in the final last year.
“This year, we have got Shardul (Thakur) back, which is a bonus. Fizz (Mustafizur Rahman) is also experienced and has quality.
Bravo said, “(Mathisha) Pathirana, we call him Baby Malinga. Tushar Deshpande, who had a good season last season. It's fun working with these guys and looking forward to the upcoming season.”
Bravo, one of the leading wicket-takers in IPL history, retired from his playing career in the league in 2022 but remains with Chennai Super Kings in the role of bowling coach.

Bravo, who had played in the tournament since its inception in 2008, replaced L Balaji after he decided to take a break for a year due to personal commitments.
He praised Team India's new players like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
“Jaiswal, he is an exciting talent and someone to keep an eye on. Tilak Verma is also another exciting talent I want to keep an eye on.”
Bravo backed opening batsman Gaikwad to perform well for CSK this season.

“(Ruturaj) Gaikwad, definitely. He's one of my favourites.”
CSK will begin their campaign in the upcoming league with a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22, the opening day of the tournament.
