Tragically, 26 persons, including 18 children, died in the North-West Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province Due to collapsed buildings.
Taimur Ali Khan, spokesman for the Provincial Disaster Management Authority in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said, “A total of 27 people have lost their lives as a result of continuous rains for the last four days in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”
Additionally, one person died in the landslide, while more than 150 houses were damaged. Five people lost their lives when buildings collapsed in southern Balochistan on Thursday and Friday.
Reports show that roads have been damaged, flooding and landslides have isolated villages in Balochistan from main cities.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted more rain and snowfall in the region on Sunday.
