New Delhi: Foreign supporters of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized car rallies in 20 different US cities to express their support for the Prime Minister's third term Narendra Modiahead of upcoming Lok Sabha Elections It is set to be held in India from April 19.
Sikh Americans in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC organized a car rally on Sunday to express their support for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The participating members first went to Gurudwaras and then came to the venue, decorating their vehicles with BJP flags and the United States flag. They were holding placards with messages like “This time we cross 400,” “Third time Modi government” and “Sikh American for Modi 3.0.”
Around 150 cars took part in the rally in Atlanta, all decorated with BJP and Indian flags and carrying placards with slogans like 'This time we cross 400' and 'I am Modi family'.
Similar car rallies were held in cities such as Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Raleigh and Detroit, where participants displayed an array of banners, flags and slogans, creating a lively scene.
Earlier, a similar initiative was taken by 'Overseas Friends of BJP' in Australia.
The group launched a campaign named 'Modi for 2024' in seven major cities across the country. The campaign aims to garner support from the NRI community for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
In the campaign, people in Australia called themselves 'Modi ka Parivar' (PM Modi's family), showing strong support for the country's governance and developmental policies under his leadership.
