Pakistan cricket team's tour of Ireland is currently going on. It has been quite an eventful series. Pakistan lost to Ireland for the first time in T-20 history. Then a fan abused Pakistan's speed businessman Shaheen Afridi. Now another story from this series is going viral. In the video, Pakistan's star wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan can be seen giving autographs on the 'Release Imran Khan' photo. Imran Khan is not only Pakistan's 1992 World Cup-winning captain but also their former Prime Minister.

Khan was ousted from power in 2022. Imran Khan was sentenced to jail in January.

Former Pakistan captain Younis Khan, who led them to their only World T20 title in 2009, has advised Babar Azam and other senior players like Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman to adjust to the demands of modern cricket. Speaking at an event in Karachi on Friday, Younis said that players should be prepared to bat at any order in the T20 format. Similarly, bowlers must be prepared to bowl in pressure situations.

“I think our top-order batsmen like Babar, Rizwan, Fakhar will now have to start working on their strike rate and make better use of the power play,” Younis said.

His former national team colleague Rashid Latif believes that the change in captaincy has spoiled the atmosphere in the Pakistan dressing room.

“I don't think Babar should have expected to captain the white ball again after the board removed Shaheen Shah Afridi as captain after just one series,” he said on his YouTube channel.
