Ashok Leyland expects a possible decline in demand for commercial vehicles in the fourth quarter due to high base effect and upcoming general elections. Despite this, improvement is expected due to favorable macroeconomic conditions after the elections. The company plans to invest substantially in capital expenditure and new product launches while aiming for a debt-free position in the medium term.
