Preity Zinta remembers Mani Ratnam asking her to wash off her makeup before a scene in Dil Se: 'I thought he was joking'

Preity Zinta went down memory lane on Thursday as she recalled her time on the sets of her first Bollywood film from the heart With Shahrukh Khan. In a recent Instagram post, Tomorrow may not be there Reminds me of the time Mani Ratnam asked her to wash her face and remove all her makeup before taking her close-up shot. While sharing the photo of the same close-up shot on Instagram, Preity Zinta narrated an interesting story from the film. He wrote, “This picture was taken on the first day on the sets of Dil Se. I was very excited to work with Mani Ratnam sir and Shahrukh Khan. When Mani sir saw me he smiled and politely asked me to wash my face…. But sir… my makeup will come off, I said smiling… I want exactly this… please wash your face… He smiled back. I thought he was joking….then I realized he wasn't!!! So thanks to the amazing Santosh Shivam (our director of photography), I filmed with a freshly washed face and got away with it, I think he shot me. from the heart #ThrowbackThursday #Hearts #Memories #Ting.

A day ago, Preity Zinta shared some pictures with her children Jiah and Jai. Preity revealed that these pictures were taken in her “home sweet home”.
