Punjab Police Registration for 1746 posts starts today: Here’s how to apply


Punjab Police Recruitment Board (PPRB) is scheduled to start the registration process for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024 from today, February 14. Interested candidates can apply for recruitment through the official website punjabpolice.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the application process for the recruitment will be active from March 14 to April 14, 2024. The recruitment board aims to fill a total of 1746 constable posts through this recruitment drive. Of these, 970 are for the District Police cadre, while 776 posts are allotted for the Armed Police cadre.
Age Range
eligibility criteria With regard to age the following will be :
Minimum age as on January 1, 2024 – 18 years.
Maximum age as on 1 January 2024 – 28 years.
educational qualification
i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized education board/university.
ii) In case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification will be Matriculation.

Step 1. Visit the official website punjabpolice.gov.in
Step 2. Click on the Registration link for Recruitment on the homepage
Step 3. Register yourself and fill the application form
Step 4. Download the registration form and take a printout of it for future reference
Selection Process
Recruitment to fill the vacancies in both the cadres will be conducted using a unified common application form (CAF) and a common computer-based (CBT) process, followed by a Physical Screening Test (PST) with pre-determined eligibility criteria and There will be Physical Measurement Test (PMT). ,
