Actor Rebel Wilson has named former co-star Sacha Baron Cohen, claiming he was trying to stop her from writing about him in her memoir.

In an earlier Instagram post, Wilson, an Australian actor known for films jojo rabbit And pitch perfect, claimed that an unnamed Hollywood actor had engaged “a crisis-hit PR manager and lawyers” to “threaten” her over a chapter in her upcoming memoir, Rebel Rising. This book is going to be released on 2 April.

Following her revelations, Wilson wrote on Instagram Stories, “I will not be bullied or silenced by expensive lawyers or PR crisis managers. The “asshole” I talk about in a chapter of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen.

Wilson worked with Baron Cohen in the 2016 spy comedy Brothers Grimsby, She played Dawn, the girlfriend of Baron Cohen's football hooligan character Nobby.

In prior interviews, Wilson had expressed displeasure about her experience working with Cohen, stating on an Australian radio show that Cohen had asked her to do a nude scene. Grimsby,
