Redmi A3x Tipped to Launch in India Soon; Spotted on Several Certification Sites

This will likely be a rebadged version of the Redmi A3, which was launched in India in February this year. Most of the specifications of the Redmi A3x are rumored to be similar to the Redmi A3.

A report by Gizmochina claims that a new Redmi handset with model numbers “24048RN6CG” and “24048RN6CI” will launch soon. The number “2404” suggests that the model could launch in April 2024, while the endings are “G” and “I”. According to the report, this means the global and Indian variants respectively. The report claims that the phone is expected to have the Redmi A3x moniker. It is also likely to be launched with some changes to the recently launched Redmi A3.

Another report by MySmartPrice states that a Redmi smartphone with model number “24048RN6CI” was spotted on a Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site, suggesting an imminent India launch. The variant with model number “24048RN6CG” appeared on Singapore's IMDA and Russia's EEC certification websites, the report said.
