Reliance Foundation Awards 5,000 Scholarships for UG Studies in 2023-24

New Delhi: The wait of thousands of hopeful students is over! Reliance Foundation has announced the selection of 5,000 recipients for its famous graduate scholarship Program for the academic year 2023-24. This is an important milestone for the programme, which is known for its inclusivity and support for higher Education all over India.
Over 58,000 students from diverse backgrounds and institutions from 35 states and union territories have applied for the scholarship. Following a rigorous merit-cum-means selection process, the final cohort demonstrates exceptional talent and potential, demonstrating the program's commitment to recognizing academic excellence while giving priority to it. Students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Notably, 75% of the scholars selected come from families with an annual income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh.

This year's cohort includes scholars from diverse disciplines including commerce, arts, business, computer applications, science, medicine, law, education and others. This diversity underlines the programme's dedication to supporting talent in all fields of study, reflecting the multifaceted aspirations of Indian youth.
The scholarship program is in line with Reliance's long-term legacy of promoting education. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than 23,136 scholarships, demonstrating a strong commitment to empowering future generations. Notably, 48% of these have gone to female students, and 3,001 have gone to students with disabilities, highlighting the programme's emphasis on inclusivity and equal opportunity.
