Samsung Galaxy M55 5G Design Renders, Key Specifications Surface Online Again; Suggests Imminent Launch


There have been rumors recently about Samsung Galaxy M55 5G. Details about the handset have surfaced online, including some leaked live images that hint at the design of the alleged model. Now a new report has leaked more details about the phone, and also shared design renders that back up the images seen in earlier leaks.

A report by MSPowerUser has shared alleged design renders of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G. The display of the phone is seen with slim bezels and a centered hole-punch slot for the front camera sensor. The handset has been seen in two color options – Black and Light Green. Its weight is said to be 180 grams.

The back panel of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G shows a triple rear camera unit in three different circular slots, arranged vertically in the top left corner, along with an LED flash unit. The power button and volume rocker appear on the right edge.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM. It is said to be available in two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB, with support for storage expansion up to 1TB via microSD card. The phone is likely to come with Android 14-based One UI and get five generations of OS updates along with 5 years of security updates.

As for optics, the triple rear camera system of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with support for optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
