Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan was in awe of star all-rounder Andre Russell after his match-winning cameo in their IPL 2024 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday. Shahrukh Khan was present for the game and watched Russell's carnage from the stands. At the post-match presentation ceremony, the Bollywood star interrupted Russell's speech and hugged the KKR legend. Russell acknowledged Shahrukh Khan's gesture and then shared a smile with him.

On Saturday, Russell became the fastest player to hit 200 sixes in the IPL, surpassing compatriot Chris Gayle.
