Shree Cement forays into RMC segment with new plant in Hyderabad, launches Bangur Concrete


Hyderabad: Cement Manufacturer Shree Cement Ltd. on Friday entered the ready mix concrete (RMC) segment with the commissioning of its first greenfield ready mix concrete (RMC) plant – Bangur Concrete – at Mankhal, Hyderabad.
The RMC plant, with a capacity of 90 cubic meters per hour, is in line with the company's vision to emerge Multi-Product Player in the core cement business, the company said. The new facility was unveiled by Shree Cement Chairman HM Bangur here on Friday.
The company merged with the commissioning of the plant. RMC Capacity Now it is 512 cubic meters per hour.
Earlier this month, Shree Cements had acquired five operational plants of Starcrete LLP in Mumbai for Rs 33.5 crore.
Neeraj Akhouri, Managing Director, Shree Cement Limited, said the entry into RMC marks the company's entry into a promising new direction of business which is driven by India's growth pace.
He said the company is committed to aggressively expanding its presence in the RMC market by building new units as well as acquiring plants.
