ssc steno result 2023: Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result for Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination, 2023 today, February 8. Candidates who appeared in the examination can check the final result on the official website ssc.nic. In.
Staff Selection Commission declared the result of Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination, 2023 on November 24, 2023. A total of 3596 candidates qualified the Stenography Skill Test for Grade 'C' and 18299 candidates qualified for Grade 'D'. , Of them, 1901 candidates appeared for Grade 'C' examination and 9947 appeared for Grade 'D' examination.
“Document Verification (DV) will be done by the indenting/user departments. Accordingly, as per the Commission's Notice No. HQ-PPII010/1/2023-PP_II (E-3789) dated 30.01.2024, in the Option-cum-Shorthand Skill Test Examination Online preference has been taken from the appeared candidates from 30.01.2024 to 02.02.2024.As per the official notice, 8702 candidates who have submitted their preference online have been considered for further selection process.
How to check SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Result 2023?
Step 1. Visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission, ssc.nic.in
Step 2. On the homepage, go to the 'Result' tab
Step 3. Now, click on the link that reads, “Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Exam 2023 – Declaration of Final Result”
Step 4. A PDF of the result will be displayed on the screen
Step 6. Download the result and take a printout of it for future reference

The Commission has fixed the category-wise cut-off on the percentage of errors/mistakes allowed in the skill test as follows:
(i) For Stenographer Grade 'C': Errors up to 5% for general category candidates, and up to 7% errors for all reserved categories candidates are acceptable.
(ii) For Stenographer Grade 'D': Errors up to 7% for general category candidates, and up to 10% errors for all reserved categories candidates are acceptable.
Selection of the candidate is not final until they pass the document verification by the concerned departments. During this process, candidates will have to provide certificates/documents confirming their education and caste/category. If any claim made in the application is not supported by these documents, the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled. Detailed marks of qualified/non-qualified candidates will be made available on the website of the Commission shortly
