Symbiosis AI Collaborates with Commonwealth for Student-Led Innovations

Pune: Symbiosis Center for Applied artificial intelligence has partnered with Commonwealth SecretariatThe Association of African UniversitiesAnd Obreal Global To encourage University students and faculty advisors to Commonwealth countries on using artificial intelligence in addressing challenges. According to a statement released by the institute on Monday, the initiative will fund 25 projects annually for five years, with an additional three years of funding for 10 impactful projects each year.
A call on 30th April financing proposal will be announced, which will enable students and faculty members of the University to access funding, mentorship and guidance from the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Association of African Universities, OBRIAL Global, SCAAI – Symbiosis International University and leading global technology companies.
Anita Patankar, Director of the Symbiosis Center for International Education, said, “This proposal targets students enrolled in higher education institutions/universities who are committed to their personal and professional development, aimed at addressing current and future global challenges. To make a significant contribution to and enhance the sustainability, innovation and social responsibility of higher education institutions.”
The Commonwealth Secretariat comprises 56 member states from Asia, Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, the Americas and the Pacific, representing a population of 2.5 billion people, 60% of whom are youth. This demographic diversity provides the Commonwealth with abundant human capital for innovation and entrepreneurship.
