Tucker Carlson says he’ll interview Putin about Ukraine war

Carlson, who was fired from Fox News last year, has been broadcasting video commentaries and interviews on X, formerly known as Twitter.
There is no air date yet for the interview, but Carlson said it will be free and unedited to watch on his website and X. Their website is asking interested readers to share their email addresses so they can be notified when the interview is released.

Carlson will be the first American journalist to conduct a formal interview with Putin since the Russian leader sent troops to Ukraine in February 2022.
The Kremlin has cracked down on critical reporting about the war, jailing Wall Street Journal reporter Ivan Gershkovich last March on espionage charges, which he and the newspaper deny. America has called his detention wrong.
