UP Board Results 2024: CM Yogi Adityanath Extends Warm Wishes to Students


Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday congratulated UP Board class 10 and 12 students for their results.
The Chief Minister described the students as the 'golden future of Uttar Pradesh' and wished that they all succeed in every examination of life.
“Hearty congratulations to all the students and their parents and teachers who have passed the class 10th and 12th examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh!” CM Yogi posted on X.
“You all are the golden future of 'New Uttar Pradesh'. With such hard work, dedication and patience, I wish you all success in every test of life. May the blessings of Maa Sharda be with you all always!” '” said the Chief Minister.
Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education declared the results of classes 10 and 12 on Saturday.
In the results, 89.55 percent students passed in high school and 82.60 percent passed in intermediate.
This year, candidates from Sitapur dominated the state rankings in both high school and intermediate examinations.
In high school, Prachi Nigam of Sitapur stood first with 98.50 percent marks, followed by Deepika Sonkar of Fatehpur at second position with 98.33 percent marks and Navya Singh of Sitapur stood third with 98 percent marks.
In the intermediate exam, Shubham Verma from Sitapur topped with 97.80 per cent, followed by Vishu Chaudhary from Baghpat and Kajal Singh from Amroha, both of whom scored 97.60 per cent.
Shubham Verma, who topped the intermediate exam with 97.80 percent marks, said in the conversation, “My parents are farmers. They faced a lot of difficulties for my education and took me to this school. I want to become an IAS officer. .”
Ankaksha Vishwakarma, who secured the third rank, speaking to ANI up board resultSaid, “The credit goes to my school and parents. After school, I used to engage in self-study for 4-5 hours. My father is a laborer. I want to become an engineer.”
Another student, Aditya Kumar Yadav, who secured third rank in the intermediate exam, said, “I feel very proud. I studied regularly and honestly. I did not use the internet during my studies. I 8 “I studied for 10 hours. I want to become an NDA officer and serve the country.”
Navya Singh, who secured third rank in the high school exam, told ANI, “I had already made a strategy to become a topper. I want to become a social worker.”
Director of Education (Secondary) Dr. Mahendra Dev and Secretary of Secondary Education Council, Divyakant Shukla, while declaring the results, said that with the board examination of the year 2024, the Secondary Education Council has also set new records.
“This year, UP Board achieved a significant achievement by completing the examinations within a record 12 working days. Also, the evaluation of answer sheets was also conducted efficiently within the same time frame. This is the second consecutive year after 2023 , where the board has released the results in record time, which is the first time in its 100-year history.”
A total of 25,78,007 candidates had registered for the intermediate exam, which included 24,25,426 institutional and 1,52,581 individual candidates.
Of these, 24,52,830 candidates, including 23,16,910 institutional candidates and 1,35,920 individual candidates, appeared for the exam.
There was a significant increase of 2.54 per cent in the number of candidates achieving first class honours, as well as a 2.83 per cent increase in the number of candidates achieving first class honours.
The pass rate of boys increased by 8.44 percent, and the pass rate of girls saw an increase of 5.42 percent.
Overall, the overall pass percentage increased by an impressive 7.08 percent.
