UPSC Civil Services 2023: How many candidates qualified for IAS, IFS and IPS?


UPSC Civil Services 2023 Result Released: Union Public Service Commission has released the results of Civil Services Examination 2023 today, April 16, 2024. The final result and merit list has been released by the Commission for the appointment of 1,016 candidates to various Group A and B services through Civil. Service Exam 2023.
The written round of the Civil Services Examination was held in September 2023 followed by interviews between January and April 2024. Candidates are selected for roles in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS). , and Central Service Groups 'A' and 'B'.
How many students have been selected for different services?
In the results declared today for the Civil Services Examination 2023, 180 candidates have been selected for the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS), while the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) has shortlisted around 37 candidates. The Indian Police Service (IPS) has also welcomed around 200 new recruits. Additionally, around 613 persons have been selected for Central Services Group 'A', while 113 candidates have been selected for Central Services Group 'B'.

Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC 2023 result in the form of a PDF document on its official website, which contains the serial numbers, roll numbers and names of the candidates who have qualified for the final appointment. The list has been compiled on the basis of merit and represents the UPSC CSE toppers for 2023.
As per the rankings, Aditya Srivastava, Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy are the top three performers in the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023. These candidates secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in All India Ranking (AIR).
