Vanguard names former BlackRock executive Salim Ramji as new CEO

Ramji joined BlackRock in 2014 as global head of corporate strategy, and left his position as senior partner at McKinsey & Company in January.

Ramji exited BlackRock in January.
Pennsylvania-headquartered Vanguard is the world's second-largest asset manager by assets, behind BlackRock. According to its website, Vanguard manages 423 funds worldwide and employs approximately 20,000 people.
