Mumbai Indians have not been able to achieve success yet ipl 2024, has lost all its three matches so far, and the team management is making every effort to maintain the team's morale to move ahead in the tournament. And as an innovative way to do so, the franchise has brought back its 'Punishment Jumpsuits'.
“The punishing outfit is back,” the caption read in a video posted by MI on social media. Ishan Kishan, Shams Mulani, Kumar Karthikeya and Nuwan Thushara were seen wearing 'Superman-themed outfits; Jumpsuit at the airport.

The suit comes with an MI logo and a cape which is blue in colour, which is also the color of the Mumbai Indians jersey.

As the social media caption suggests, this dress will have to be worn as a punishment to players who arrive late for practice sessions, team meetings, team buses, etc.
This is a resumption of a practice that the MI management has used in the past to enforce discipline among players.

This season, Mumbai will be led by their new captain Hardik Pandya. Hardik was traded to Gujarat Titans before the season, where he was the captain for two editions, including the title win in 2022. He has replaced Rohit Sharma as MI captain.
The decision on MI captaincy is facing a lot of criticism from MI fans.
MI will next face Delhi Capitals on April 7 in Mumbai.
